When you complete the contact form on this website I collect:

• your email address
• your telephone number, if you choose to give it — it's optional on the form
• the content of your message

Information collected automatically. This site does not currently use analytics or tracking technology of any kind. Nothing is collected automatically when you browse it — no IP logging, no device fingerprinting, no third-party trackers.

I do not collect special category data (health, ethnicity, religion, biometrics, political opinions, sexual orientation or trade union membership) through this website.

• Provide the services you've asked for — lawful basis: contract.
• Keep records of work and payments — legal and accounting obligations. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

I do not sell your personal information. I share it only with:

• Hosting and infrastructure — Vercel, to operate this website.
• Email — Zoho, which hosts my mailbox and therefore receives any message you send me.
• Authorities — where required to by law.

Each acts under a written contract requiring them to protect your information and use it only on my instructions.

I store personal information in the UK or the European Economic Area. Anything you send me arrives by email and is stored by Zoho in the EU. This website itself holds no personal information — its pages are static files with no database behind them, delivered by Vercel's content delivery network from wherever is nearest to you. Nothing containing your personal information is stored outside the UK or EEA.

• Enquiries that don't become customers: 12 months from last contact.
• Customer records: 6 years after the end of our working relationship (accounting requirements).

I delete or anonymise information once it is no longer needed.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• be informed about how I use your information — that is what this page is for
• access a copy of the information I hold about you
• rectification — have inaccurate information corrected
• erasure — ask me to delete your information in certain circumstances
