McGarry Websites is run by one person, from Sunderland, for businesses in Sunderland and the wider North East. No account managers, no offshore build team, no hand-offs between the person who sold you the site and the person who builds it.
I started McGarry Websites because I kept meeting Sunderland business owners paying a lot for websites that didn't work on their phone and hadn't been touched in years. I build and look after every site myself, so there's one person accountable for how it performs.

The person who quotes your project is the person who builds it and answers the phone afterwards.
You own what you pay for
On final payment the site is yours: your design, your content, your domain, licensed to host, change or hand to another developer, permanently. The only thing that stays mine is the underlying template.
Three-day build, in writing
Every site is built within three working days of your content being confirmed complete. That is in the build agreement, not just on this page.
A published speed target
Every site targets a 95+ Google PageSpeed score, checkable on the finished site with a free online tool.
A real cancellation policy
Cancel your plan with 30 days’ notice. Your files and any database are packaged up and handed over.
A one-day reply
Emails get a reply within one working day, Monday to Friday. It is in the care plan terms.
Based in Sunderland
Sunderland is the focus, because being local matters for the work — understanding the area, meeting in person where that helps, and being reachable at normal hours. Projects across the North East are welcome too.
